SUMMER REHEARSALS
SUMMER BAND REHEARSALS:
- Rehearsals start: Monday, July 13th at 3 PM!
- Dinner break (5:30 to 6:30): Younger students/anyone not wanting to leave the school should plan to bring a packed meal for themselves.)
- What to bring: instrument/music, a water bottle, packed lunch/$ for their dinner break
- Attendance: We also understand that families have a lot going on in the summer! Please do your best to review the attendance policy in the Band Student Handbook and follow the procedures outlined. We really want to make sure that students get the most out of the Summer experience!
DROP OFF: Door Y @ back of WCJSHS (grey band room door)
PICK UP: At front of WCJSHS
PARENT MEETING:
- Parent Meeting @ 6 PM on Tuesday, July 20th (Camp Chaperone Meeting will follow)
BAND CAMP: At West Liberty University
- Packets are available! Students will receive theirs on the 1st day of rehearsal.
- Check in @ 2 PM on Sunday, July 26th @ West Liberty University
- Check out will follow the final performance @ 4:30 PM on Friday, July 31st

Black Band (grades 8-12) will have group & individual photos (in uniform) taken by a professional photographer on this day - individual photo purchases are optional.
These will be our "official" group/individual photos to be used for the 2026-2027 school year.
*Required for all members of this group.

Official order forms will be handed out to students during Summer band rehearsals once we have received them.
Families wishing to purchase photos will need to provide the photographer with their order form & payment during our session.
Photos will be received by Mr. Mason or Mrs. Graham-Coldren and passed out to students during school/rehearsal.
FORM AVAILABLE!
If a student is unable to attend Media Day but would still like to order individual photos, arrangements can be made to accommodate that student using an available photographer.
Unfortunately, students unable to attend Media Day will not be pictured in the 2026-2027 group photo.
